Niall Barry MISCP

Niall is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated from Brunel University in 2003 before gaining valuable experience working with a wide variety of clients and conditions in busy city centre hospitals and private practices in London, Lancashire and Dublin prior to establishing Dynamic Physiotherapy in 2009.

With a huge enthusiasm for sports, and having played to senior inter-county GAA level, Niall works within a number of different sports with athletes at junior, amateur and professional level including Leinster and Irish Rugby, Inter-county GAA football and hurling, Irish Colleges Rugby and Irish Cricket. He is currently the senior physiotherapist for Clontarf Rugby and part of the medical team for the successful Dublin GAA football squad.

He also holds an Honours degree in Sports Rehabilitation & Sports Science and has completed his Masters degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Trinity College Dublin.

He specialises in rehabilitation of back and neck pain, sports and work place injuries. These include musculoskeletal sprains and strains from sport and repetitive strain, back and neck pain and injuries precipitated by the demands of prolonged sitting in a poor ergonomic position or posture.

Andrea Murphy

Qualifications & Education

Andrea is a Chartered Physiotherapist, having graduated from University College Dublin with an Honours degree, as well as a Msc in Sports and Exercise Medicine in Trinity College Dublin. She has always had an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and specialises in Chronic Back and Neck pain, Sports Injuries & Dry Needling.

Experience & Interests

Andrea has gained experience as a Sports physiotherapist for rugby, GAA, soccer and hockey teams. She values combining exercise rehabilitation with manual therapy to aid in reducin pain and limitations. She takes an individualized approach and prioritises getting to know what works for her clients to help in recovering from injury and achieving their functional goals.

Andrea has developed an interest in Strength and Conditioning and rehabilitation through he experience of playing Gaelic football and basketball at a high-level. Her other interests include swimming, rugby and surfing.

Jennifer Macenri

Qualifications & Education

Jennifer is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated from University College Dublin, obtaining an honours degree. She has a keen interest in exercise and its role in injury and illness prevention across the lifespan.

Experience & Interests

She has gained experience in a number of different settings including private practice, with sports teams and in an acute hospital. She worked in St. Vincent’s University Hospital where she treated chronic cardio-respiratory conditions, traumatic orthopaedic patients, stroke patients and other neurological disorders.

Jennifer recognises each patient as an individual and tailors treatment programmes accordingly, including both manual therapy and exercise prescription. Her involvement in competitive kettlebell lifting has allowed her to remain largely injury free in her other sports such as hockey and tag rugby. Therefore she has first hand understanding of the value of strength and conditioning and optimal movement patterns for injury prevention and treatment

Jordan Finnegan

Qualifications

Jordan is an Athletic Rehabilitation Therapist who graduated from Athlone IT in 2018. He recently completed a Masters Degree in Sports and Exercise Science and Medicine from the University of Glasgow.

Experience

Jordan is currently working for the IRFU, as Club Physio for De La Salle Palmerston FC and works for a semi-professional League of Ireland football team. Jordan specialises in musculoskeletal injuries and treatments and utilises hands on treatment with exercise rehabilitation. He has vast experience working with many sports teams including professional teams such as the New Zealand Rugby and Cricket team, The Blue Bulls and Argentina Rugby. Jordan is currently the Chief Medical Officer for Leinster Rugby’s School of Excellence.
